I admit, photographing a Brooklyn engagement shoot in NYC has always been a bit of a dream of mine.  Chad and Nicole are getting married here in Austin next year at the amazing Hoffman Haus and I couldn’t be more ecstatic when they asked me to capture their Brooklyn engagement shoot in their neighborhood of Fort Green. We made sure to hit up all of the spots that are meaningful to them and their amazing little pup, Ella, came along for the ride.  The absolute best part to me was photographing at the the Brooklyn Bridge at Sunset. I commend Nicole for hiking up to the Brooklyn Bridge in those amazing heels. That lady is fierce and I’m so glad we did it.  Dang, that view was a sight.   I can’t wait to capture the incredible wedding of this adorable couple next march! Congrats, you two!

My daughter is Nicole. Chad has been a part of our lives since 2001. Very special relationship. Miss Ella came on the scene in 2008 in New Orleans. The essence of their lives in Brooklyn that you captured is amazing. I especially like the picture of them in front of Putmans, since you can see Ella upstairs. I was in Brooklyn in September, and we walked/ran by a lot of the places where you photographed them. How special that you took the time to let them take you to all of those places (none too far, but still consuming). Nicole in The Heels all the way to Brooklyn Bridge. Guess Nicole will make it through the wedding in heels if she can do that! I know they’ve hired the perfect person to capture their wedding. Looking forward to meeting you. Thank you!
